Overview:
The VP of Operations will oversee the AI and robotics that power Next Step’s automated stores and warehouses. This role is critical in ensuring smooth technology integration, system efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all AI and robotic systems in retail locations and warehouses.
Oversee deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation.
Develop operational protocols for human-robot interactions.
Partner with AI/robotics firms to improve system functionality.
Ensure data security, AI ethics compliance, and real-time performance monitoring.
Qualifications:
8+ years in robotics, AI-driven logistics, or warehouse automation.
Experience working with Autostore, Ocado, Amazon Robotics, or similar systems.
Strong background in machine learning, systems integration, and automation scalability.
